SafeGolf is England Golf’s national accreditation promoting a safe and positive environment for all those participating, working and volunteering in the sport of golf. The committee have been working towards accreditation and are delighted to announce the appointment of David Walker as Club Welfare Officer. If any of you need to contact David on any related matter, you will find his contact details on the Club Welfare Officer poster below which will also be displayed on the club notice boards.
Whitehaven Golf Club has also adopted the safeguarding policy documents and associated procedures below which will also be posted on the notice boards. Please familiarise yourselves with the content and use David as your first point of contact on any welfare related issue, although you can also contact any club employee or volunteer should you need any immediate assistance.
We will notify you once the accreditation process is fully completed and of any changes to policies and procedures in the future.
