Moresby Hall - Whitehaven

Moresby Hall is one of Cumbria’s most historic homes. A Grade I listed building (circa 1620) offering stunning Country Guesthouse accommodation and retaining so many original features. This spacious Hall has been described as “One of the most important buildings in Cumbria” by English Heritage and “Totally unique and welcoming” by so many guests.

There are 14 rooms available to accommodate up to 30 people so this is also the perfect place for a get together for family & friends. All the rooms have beautiful décor and bathrooms combined with fluffy towels and a selection of quality toiletries. Our spacious four poster rooms (4 available) are perfect for a memorable wedding night. These rooms are also equipped with the latest Nespresso style tea / coffee pod machines.

Moresby Hall enjoys a semi-rural location with delightful walled gardens, and is the perfect base to explore the Western Lake District.

The Corner House - Whitehaven

This Victorian villa, built in 1863 hosts many original features, including high ceilings, sash windows and fireplaces. We have six rooms to offer our guests.
The Corner House is located only a 5 minutes stroll from the historic Georgian port town of Whitehaven. Much of the town dates back to the 1700's when shipping, rum and mining were its main trades. The regenerated harbour side with it's cafes and restaurants is now noted as being the start of the C2C cycle route.
